Liability Policy

By booking, playing, or otherwise being on or of the golf courses (Severiano Ballesteros and Jack Nicklaus) or facilities (the "Facilities") of the Golf Club-Crans-Sur-Sierre (the "Golf Club"), you (the "Participants", "you", "your") acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • Risks: You acknowledge and accept the risks associated with the practice of golf, including, but not limited to, the risks of injury caused by golf balls, natural or artificial obstacles, adverse weather conditions, etc., as well as the risks of injury or other property damage possibly inflicted on others in any way on the Facilities. You agree to fully assume these risks during your participation or presence on the Facilities.
  • Participants' liability: By using the Facilities, you agree to assume full responsibility for your actions on or in connection with the Facilities, whether towards other Participants, the Golf Club or any third parties. In the event of damage to the Golf Club's property, you must inform the Golf Club without delay and cooperate fully in establishing the facts and repairing any damage.
  • Liability of the Golf Cub: Subject to liability arising from intentional acts committed by the Golf Club, its gross negligence or acts committed by the Golf Club leading to physical injury to individuals, the Golf Club declines and excludes all liability in connection with the Facilities. Furthermore, the Golf Club excludes all liability arising from the acts of its auxiliaries within the meaning of art. 101 para. 2 of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
  • Caution and instructions: Participants hereby acknowledge and confirm that they have read and agree to comply with all instructions and rules of safety and propriety communicated by the Golf Club on its website or in any other way. The Golf Club recommends that all Participants take out personal liability insurance before interacting with the Facilities.
